Yes, I admit it. I do watch Dr Phil!

Today’s show taught me about anger management. Dr Phil’s formula is

1. Recognise the early warning signs of anger
– muscle tension, thoughts racing, agitation
– urge to shout or berate another person

2. Leave the situation ASAP

3. Work on calming down techniques
– exercise
– relaxation / breathing

4. Problem solve the situation

5. Come back with assertive (non-aggressive) response
