Small boat, big sea

July 9, 2006

Went to small boat big sea in Fairlight. It was quite lovely, like a more organised cafe church for an older, more straight crowd. Most importantly it was family friendly and included a meal and glass of wine! People seemed v nice, and format was interesting and multimedia. People brought pictures, stories and music to share which was v nice. All so nice. And I couldn’t have done it without the assistance of the beautiful Carmen (auntie extraordinaire) to hold a twin. Taking twins to church is a two person proposition, but still couldn’t concentrate on it at all, they insisted on vocalising their contributions to the discussion of the Holy Spirit. As someone said “maybe you should just forget about church for a couple of years” I am starting to think he’s right!
